Connecting your eBay account to Papello allows you to manage orders, automate fulfilment, and publish new products directly to eBay.
Prerequisites
Before starting, ensure you have:
An active Papello seller account.
An active eBay seller account.
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
1. Navigate to Stores in Papello
Log in to your Papello dashboard and go to Dashabord > Stores
2. Select eBay and Authorise
Click the Connect eBay button. You will be redirected to the official eBay authorization page.
You will be asked to confirm you have a eBay business account.
3. Grant Permissions
Log in to your eBay seller account and click Agree / Grant Access to authorise the Papello application. This grants Papello permission to:
Retrieve incoming orders for print production.
Send automated, link-free personalisation questions via eBay Messages.
Update order shipping statuses and push tracking numbers back to eBay.
4. Confirm Connection
After granting permissions, you will be redirected back to your Papello dashboard. A green Connected badge will appear next to your eBay account name.
Step 5: Configure Post-Connection Channel Settings
Once connected, a Channel Settings modal will automatically prompt you to configure optional channel branding and compliance preferences:
Channel Name & Order Hold Time: Customise how your channel appears on Papello and choose your preferred order hold time (e.g. Process immediately).
Default Branded Inserts: Select optional branding materials to accompany your orders, such as custom Postcard Inserts, Colour Flyers, or Packing Slips.
GPSR Manufacturer Settings: If you ship orders to the EU or Northern Ireland, enter your General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) manufacturer details (Company Name, Address, City, Postcode, and Country) to ensure your listings comply with regulatory requirements.
